How to make a simple Google Chrome Logo

in this second tutorial i will show you how to  create a simple Google Chrome logo using adobe illustrator CS6 , you can also create this Logo with antoher versions of illustrator (CC, CS5 ,CS4 ... )  .



first we must create a new file , so to do that you must go to : file   and select New Document , a new window is going to display  :

 change Unititled-1 to any other name  or you can leave like this 

for profile : use WEB    

for size :   960 x 560
 
and click ok .

now choose ellipse tool to draw a circle  : 

now you can draw a circle  , but it's not perfect ,,to make it perfect hold on the shift key  ,that will force it to be a perfect circle.

now draw another circle inside the first circle using ellipse tool

now choose the line segment tool   to draw a line :

make two lines like the first line :

now our google chrome logo is 80% completed , all we have to do now is to add colors so the three colors we gonna add is blue , orange ,red and green :

first choose the center circle and add the blue color :

add orange color :

add red color :

finally add green color :

now,  our google chrome logo is 99% completed, but the problem here is there are some borders that we have to delete , to delete border choose direct selection tool and select the entire circle , choose the fill and stroke tool , make the stroke tool transparent and apply to circle .


finnally our google chrome logo is 100% completed  this is the result of this tutorial :
